R-lief shoes prevent any contact between your feet and the major allergens responsible for skin irritations. They are particularly suitable if you suffer from ACD (allergic contact dermatitis), but they’re also recommended as a prevention measure.
R-lief is not a remedy and its purpose is not to heal. It would be awesome, but totally misleading. However, your R-lief shoes do something that is equally important: they help you keep ACD under control and give you relief by improving the quality of your life.
There is no minimum or maximum time, as many different factors are involved: the ACD stage you’re in (early or acute), your disorder type, your lifestyle and your constancy in wearing your R-lief shoes every day.
In order to get some effective and lasting benefits, it is important that you don’t switch between your R-liefs and other types of shoes or wear unsuitable socks. The more you wear ordinary shoes and socks, the easier it is for ACD to come back.
In every R-lief box you’ll find a free pair of organic cotton socks: they have a neutral pH and are allergen-free and designed not to irritate your skin. To maximize the effectiveness of your R-lief shoes we recommend that you use R-lief socks or a variety with the same characteristics.
No, they don’t. R-lief shoes regularly undergo tests by certified and nationally and internationally recognized entities to ensure they are free of all major allergens. You can check the full list here.
No, R-lief shoes are actually sneakers. They are comfortable and versatile shoes for walking, working out, jogging. You can use them at home, outdoors, in the office, anytime and anywhere, except in extreme environments or situations.
The outsoles of your R-lief shoes provide a good grip and allow you to walk safely even on wet asphalt. Please note that this applies to urban settings: they are not suitable for rough terrain or challenging mountain hikes.
